14 Days China's Platinum Triangle: Imperial Capitals & Avatar Peaks Adventure

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the historical city of Beijing. You will reach the Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Walk through the square and visit today’s highlight: Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Hike to Jingshan Park, where gives a nice panoramic view of the Forbidden City at the top of Coal Hill.

Have lunch at a local Chinese restaurant enroute to experience the authentic Chinese food. Afterwards, visit Temple of Heaven, which was used to pray for harvest by the emperors. It is China's existing largest structure for sacrifice to heaven. Shopping time at Panjiayuan Antique Market and Pearl Market. Drive back to the hotel, en route you can plan for the night show or the Peking duck dinner with your guide and ask for suggestions.

Forbidden City

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Beijing 

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, which section is more popular among foreign visitors. Upon arrival, you can choose to hike on the Great Wall, or take cable car up and walk around. Enjoy lunch at a local Chinese restaurant nearby The Great Wall.

Drive back to Beijing city, visit the exterior Bird Nest and Water Cube, the amazing architectures that built for Beijing Olympic Games. Back to the hotel, en route you can plan for the night activities, such as foot massage, houhai night bars and Sanlitun bar street.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Xi'an

You will have enough time to pack up and check out. Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and have half day leisure tour in Beijing. Drive to Drum Tower area for taking a relaxing Hutong Tour by rickshaw, which is the way to know the Beijing local lifestyle.

Continue driving to Summer Palace, which is the existing largest, best-preserved imperial garden in China. Boat ride on Kunming Lake is included. Lunch will be arranged at a nearby restaurant.

After lunch, be transferred to train station to take high speed train to Xi'an. Your Xi'an tour guide will wait for you at the Xian North Train Station and help you to transfer to the hotel.

Hutong

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Xi'an

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Ancient city.

Firstly drive to Terracotta Warriors and explore one of the world's most important archaeological finds, with troops, horses and carriages in battle formation. Shuttle bus will be arranged for your convenience. Then you will have a chance to visit pottery figurine factory, where you can learn how to make a pottery figurine.

A chinese Lunch will be arranged nearby the scenic area of Terracotta Warriors.

Visit the Ancient Xian City Wall in the afternoon, which represents one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls. You may choose to ride a bicycle on the wall to go around (***Bicycle riding is optional and excluded from our price***). Continue to visit Muslim Quarter and enjoy your shopping time there. Back to the hotel, en route you can plan for the night activities, such as Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner.

Terracotta Warriors

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Chengdu

You will have enough time to pack up and check out. Be met at the hotel lobby and have one day leisure tour in Xian before leaving for Chengdu.

Firstly visit Gao's Courtyard, which is a wonderful choice for you to appreciate ancient residences and explore local culture of paper-cutting and shadow puppetry. After that, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It’s the landmark building of Xian and symbol of China ancient capital and you will also have chance to watch the North plaza fountain show.

After lunch, drive to Xian North Railway Station. Take a 4hrs high speed train to Chengdu. Your Chengdu tour guide will wait for you at the station and help you to transfer to the hotel.

Wild Goose Pagoda

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Chengdu

Our guide will meet you up at the hotel lobby and start to explore the Panda hometown. Enjoy your interesting tour to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is a huge institution replicates the natural habitat of the giant panda. Sightseeing shuttle bus is included. You will learn the habits and characteristics of Giant and baby pandas, observe them eating bamboos and playing around.

Typical lunch will be arranged as Hot Pot at Old House restaurant.

We will bring to Chengdu People's Park, where you will find many locals dancing, doing exercise, playing card, playing Mahjong, ear-picking, marriage seeking ect in the park. They enjoy the leisure time in the park. If you are interested in, you could try to join in them.

We will take a seat in a tea house, having a cup of tea to feel the local’s leisure life.

After that we will show your way to walk around the famous Kuan Zhai Alley which consists of several ancient streets of Ming and Qing Dynasty. We will have a stop at a Chinese style Starbucks where you could have a cup of coffee to enjoy the leisure afternoon.

Be transferred back to Chengdu city and we highly recommend you watch the Sichuan Opera.

Giant Panda Base

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Chongqing

In the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Mt. Leshan - has the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. You will take a cruise (about 30 min) to have an overview of this mountain and the Leshan Giant Buddha.

After lunch in a local Chinese restaurant, we drive directly to Chengdu railway station to take a high speed train to Chongqing. Check in your hotel and free of the rest time.

Mt. Leshan & Giant Buddha

After breakfast, you will take a city tour of Chongqing Three Gorges Museum - know more about Three Gorges culture, Ancient Town of Ciqikou - the ancient Chongqing city, Liziba Station , which is a famous subway station in Chongqing, China, whose view of subway crossing the building is popular on the Internet.

Try the Yangtze River Ropeway, which has become a representative project of the mountain city. Take the ropeway, slide to the other side of the river, all the way to see the steel forest, the Yangtze River and the scenery of the south bank area of the north river.  Hong Ya Cave is the best place to visit group of stilted buildings, appreciate Hongya Dicui, stroll mountain city old street, watch Ba-Yu culture, and taste delicious food, and it is also the Jiangbei lounge at the riverside area of the Yangtze River. At the end, drive back to your hotel and free of the rest time.

Notes:
1. Yangtze River Cruise lasts for 3 nights from Chonqing to Yichang, embarkation at Chaotianmen Dock, sails at around 21:00pm.
2. Tonight would be a perfect time to board Yangtze River Cruise ship for anyone who wants to include a leisure cruise tour in Yangtze River.
3. There is no direct train from Yichang to Zhangjiajie, a private transfer service will be arranged for traveler then (about 4-5 hours driving).

Chongqing day tour

After breakfast, be transferred to take a high speed train to Zhangjiajie. The guide in Zhangjiajie will wait for you at the railway station. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. You will visit the famous Tianmen Mountain this afternoon, explore the six wonders of Tianmen Mountain including: Tianmen Mt Cable car, Glass Skywalk, Tianmen Temple, Bonsai Garden, Tianmen Cave, Connected-Heaven Avenue, etc.

Afte the tour, you will be transferred to check in your hotel in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan district for rest.

Tianmen Mountain

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Today, after breakfast, you will be met by our guide and driver and then driven to start your exciting tour in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. You will visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by taking the Bailong Elevator. This spot is a highlight of your private Zhangjiajie tour, famous in the world for the Hallelujah Mountains that appeared in the movie Avatar, and the magnificent "The First Stone Bridge in the World". Then we will take a battery car to visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, where you could see mountains, grand valleys, and original forests. If you are lucky, you may see the marvelous sea of clouds.

Afterwards, take a small train to visit Ten-mile Gallery（small train on your own expense). Along the 5km drive there are unique stones forming different shapes, feeling like a natural landscape painting. In the end of day, we will drive you back to your hotel in Zhangjiajie to have a rest.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Accommodation: In Shanghai

Today after breakfast, our guide will escort you to visit the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, the longest and highest glass bridge in the world. A la Carte lunch will be arranged at a local restaurant. After that, then visit Baofeng Lake which is praised as the Jade Pool in the world. Here, you can see the waterfalls hanged on the mountain, the crystal water surrounded by the unique mountains, and you can also learn the folk songs of the Tujia Ethnic Group while you ride a boat on the lake.

After the tour, be transferred to airport for your  flight to Shanghai. Your guide in Shanghai will wait for you at the airport and transfer you to hotel in Shanghai for rest.

Grand Canyon Glass Bridge

The last day but still an inspiring day to explore the city of Shanghai,the largest and most modern city in mainland China. We will start the tour by walking into Nong Tang, the alleys in Shikumen, where you could witness the locals' relaxing and plain life. You will also find the unique architectural feature of Shanghai.

Then continue the day trip to Yuyuan Garden which is a Chinese classic garden in city downtown. Then continue to explore the Yuyuan Bazaar (Chenghuangmiao Old Street) nearby.

After a la carte lunch is served at a local restaurant, we continue our trip to the foot of The Oriental Pearl TV Tower to visit Shanghai City History Museum(The Former Shanghai Wax Museum), where you will know more about the history and development of Shanghai. Then take the elevator up to the 2nd ball of the TV tower, from which you will have a bird-eye view of Shanghai. Go on driving through Lujiazui, the finance & trade zone in Pudong of Shanghai, where you will find many skyscrapers. We will have a view of the modern skyline of Shanghai.

Then back to the Bund, admire the illuminated buildings lining the Huangpu River. From the Bund, you could see the landmark of Shanghai--- The Oriental Pearl TV Tower as well as other high-rised buildings, just on the opposite of Huangpu River.

Your China Experience is over too soon as your transfer to the airport and board the homebound international flight, bidding a fond farewell to this ancient land.
